Registration is FREE and super easy! Click here. Register and set up your profile and then you'll be asked if you want to join or create a team or be a solo planker. Once you’ve completed this, you will be prompted to set up your fundraising page.
SET YOUR GOAL
We encourage every planker to commit to 5 mins a day. It's easy to slip into your everyday routine and it will produce results. If you stick to this then on day 31 you will be crowned a PLATINUM PLANKER for achieving 155 minutes of planking! Or choose the amount of time that suits your lifestyle.
SPREAD THE WORD
Tell all your mates, family and complete strangers that you are planking for PLANKTOBER. Get them to sponsor you per minute and/or challenge them to join the fun. Just by doing this you are strengthening the CORE of the community around you.
GET YOUR PLANK ON
Yep, as the days count down, it’s time to get ready to assume your planking pose. Work out the best times to smash out a minute or 5 of your best plank each day. Remember to share your daily planks with your friends and family who surely will reward you with generous $$ donations for your efforts!
TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
Don’t forget to track your minutes each day and upload them through the website. We have leaderboards for minutes planked and money raised so this is your time to shine and see your name up in lights!

What is Planktober?
PLANKTOBER is an initiative of Touched by Olivia Foundation to enable a coming together of community to create a positive and lasting impact. We will be working with charities, government, corporates and changemakers to take collective action to drive connectedness. Through the raising of funds and awareness achieved through planking 5 minutes a day (or more or less, your choice!), we will harness social capital and enhance local assets to strengthen our community.
What do I have to do?
You can register to participate as an individual, family or team or solely make a donation and set a fundraising goal based on number of minutes planked. You will be encouraged to seek sponsors and donations through your own fundraising. So, say you set a goal of 5 minutes every day during October, then it’s totally up to you whether you smash it all out at once, or break the 5 mins down into increments that suit you to do during each day!! There will be a few weekly challenges and incentives, so get into it. Winners will receive a prize from our generous sponsors, so keep an eye out on our social media and your emails.
When does Planktober start and finish?
Planktober starts on the 1st of October 2021 and ends on the 31st of October 2021.
